Le Sahara marocain est une région désertique située dans le sud du Maroc. Il s’étend sur plus de 250 000 kilomètres carrés et est considéré comme l’un des déserts les plus vastes et les plus inhospitaliers au monde. Il est caractérisé par ses dunes de sable, ses montagnes rocheuses et ses oasis verdoyantes. Les températures peuvent atteindre des sommets élevés pendant la journée, mais elles chutent considérablement la nuit.

La région est peuplée par les nomades de tribus berbères qui ont appris à vivre dans ces conditions difficiles. Ils ont développé des méthodes pour cultiver des palmiers dans les oasis et élever des animaux pour leur subsistance. Le tourisme est devenu une industrie importante dans la région, avec des visiteurs venant pour des activités telles que le camping dans le désert, les randonnées à dos de dromadaire et les safaris en 4×4. Le Sahara marocain est également connu pour ses festivals culturels, notamment le Festival des nomades, qui célèbre la culture berbère de la région.
